Back in July a friend of ours opened up his own Barber Shop, Shephard Barbers in a village called Leverington which is near Wisbech. So to help him out, we went to visit, took along my camera and shot some photos for his website and social media etc.
His brother is a Graphic Designer so he knew what he wanted from me photography wise to help with marketing this new business.
He wanted things with 'white space', for social media purposes. So I created these:
PLUS some of the details in the shop so that if you were planning on going for a haircut you'll know what to expect. This shop has literally thought of everything!
Of course, he wanted some action shots too. These are my favourites, not just because Asa (my husband) 'modelled' for a few of these but because of the simple, yet so effective black and whites:
These types of shoots are so much fun because you can get really creative, especially with the editing process. Every brand and every business is so unique as well so that just makes every photoshoot so dynamic and different.
I hope you enjoyed looking at this content creating post - something a little different from me. If you're ever in the area or live nearby to Leverington though you should definitely stop by for a haircut and a coffee when lockdown restrictions are lifted!
