What a wonderful day this was.
1) Because I met Louie and Megan for the first time
2) Because there was no clouds in the sky
3) I shot my first engagement photo session.
We met in the most beautiful location: Lynford Arboretum (no idea how to pronounce this-any thoughts, comment below! I'd be intrigued to see how you would say this!). It was quite nice to discover a new place that I, my lovely assistant Mollie, nor the happy couple had been before! We took a walk through the tranquil greenery that was almost all various shades of orange due to the time of year and found that it was quiet, vibrant and perfect for some creativity.
Louie and Megan wanted some photos to capture this significant time in their lives and it worked out the perfect place to do this! We used the trees, the leaves, the brickwork and the grass to our advantage! Have a look at how they turned out below! I absolutely loved doing this photo session. It gave me a chance to get to know the couple before the big day. Not only that, they got to know how they felt about me taking their photograph and also had some beautiful memories captured. For more reasons on why I think engagement photo sessions are a good investment check out my article 8 Reasons to Invest in an Engagement Photo Session. It’s definitely worth a read if you’re in doubt as to whether these are worth it or not!
I narrowed down the photos from this day for you guys to have a look at below. Let me know your thoughts below and as always if you want to hear more from me about what I’m up to then sign up to my blog to be the first to know.
